Ruben Ramirez, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
CA License #: 82995
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide a multi-systemic and bio-psycho-social approach to working with each of my clients.
This includes providing them with an individualized treatment process to address their unique needs, circumstances, and areas of negative impact.
I have 10+ years of experience supporting adolescents and adults across various systems of care and throughout the many stages and challenges of life.
I am skilled at working with clients with a variety of presenting challenges, including anxiety and mood disorders, anger management, marital and family conflict, and LGBTQ+ matters, to name a few.
As a clinician, my first goal is to partner with each client to draw out individual strengths to aid in addressing areas of impact and increase overall well-being and function.
My second goal is not to tell the client what they need/should do but to assist them in identifying what is right for them through education, empowerment, self-advocacy, and appropriate symptom management.
My therapeutic style pulls from my graduate-level education from USC and my professional experience, and it incorporates interventions from evidence-based practices such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, PCIT, Psychodynamic, and more.
Interventions are delivered through a very natural and comfortable conversational exchange that allows the client to gain insight and a better understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Let us partner together to achieve the most out of life in an enriching and fulfilling way.
