Sometimes life’s challenges can leave us feeling alone, isolated, confused, or disappointed.
We may find that our days are filled with many different stressors including roles, obligations, and expectations we are meant to fill. This can leave us feeling empty and exhausted.
I consider therapy to be a journey where I work with, and more importantly, walk with, my clients by using a client-centered approach, sprinkled with humor.
My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where they are freely able to process life's challenges.
My Approach
I give each and every client support that is tailored specifically to meet their personal counseling needs and concerns.
Using different therapeutic approaches such as Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Strength-Based and Solution-Focused theories, I offer clients an empathetic yet evidence-based approach.
My experience also includes working with life transitions and adjustment issues, providing parenting support, ADHD, chronic pain, and relationship issues.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in a wide variety of settings including in schools (preschool through college), a substance abuse clinic, a community mental health clinic, intensive outpatient programs, and private practices.
I look forward to meeting you and getting started!
