Telehealth

What is telehealth and does it work?

In this image we can see a woman sitting in the kitchen with her computer, she wears a gray sweater and her hair is loose.

Telehealth is the method of providing health-related care and services remotely. Typically, this is accomplished by using video conferencing software, where clients can virtually meet with their healthcare providers from another location.

Research indicates that teletherapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. However, since teletherapy is considerably more convenient and accessible, clients are able to join their sessions where they feel the most comfortable.

Our appointments are primarily telehealth, however, we do offer very limited in-person sessions.

All sessions are 53 minutes long, though clients in Couples and Family Therapy can request 75-minute sessions if needed.
